The lined lobe pump is a self-priming, valveless positive displacement pump in which the flow rate varies proportionally with the speed of rotation.

The operating principle is based on the synchronised and opposite rotation of the lobes, which, enclosing the material in the space between them and the pump body, transfer it from the suction port to the discharge port. Suction and delivery are separated by the geometric configuration of the rotors.

Stabilised cast iron body and wear-resistant steel shoulders. Lobes available in different versions: NBR, SBR, XNBR, EPDM and FPM.

The direction of rotation of the pump, and consequently the pumping direction of the sucked material, can be reversed due to the symmetrical design of the pump.

The VL pump is suitable for conveying viscous, pasty products (slurries, oils, paints, pastes, sludge, sewage). Suitable for pumping liquids containing foreign solids up to a maximum size of 30 mm. Self-priming up to a depth of 5 m (with water).

Available in the version with standard seals or with reinforced seals (prepared to withstand higher operating pressures; equipped with a flushing system).
